Accounts Clerk


Our client, a leading company within the retail industry is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their growing Finance team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Posting and chasing of invoices in line with the company's guidelines whilst ensuring all documentation is filed correctly
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Updating accrual and prepayment schedules on a monthly basis
  • Reviewing of debit balances, payments on account, credit notes, update of Supplier details, creation and setup of new suppliers, filing of invoices and statements
  • Filing of any accounting related documentation 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Previous local experience in a similar role

Education & Experience

A level in Accounting/AAT Diploma in accounting. Candidates in the initial stages of ACCA will be given preference
