Accounts Clerk

Malta

An Accounts Clerk position is currently available with an established company within the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of purchase orders as well as posting them into the accounting system
  • Invoice monitoring
  • Preparing regular reconciliations of suppliers and debtors
  • Liasing with suppliers 
  • Preparation of supplier payments
  • Posting of payments and receipts
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Carrying out any other duties assigned by the Financial Controller

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to both work independently as well as part of a team
  • Prior knowledge of SAGE, Opera, Material Control as well as all Microsoft Office suites will be beneficial

Education & Experience

Minimum of O Level or A Level qualifications in accountancy
