Accounts Clerk

Malta  |  €22,000 - €25,000 

Our client, operating within the construction industry, is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:


  • Bank reconciliations and petty cash 
  • Compilation and submission of VAT returns 
  • Preparation of deposits and bank payments 
  • Issuing payroll calculations and keeping up to date with timesheet 
  • Assisting in the implementation of key accounting controls 
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Financial Controller 

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Good time management skills
  • At least 2 years experience working within a similar role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Previous knowledge of Sage would be considered an asset however not a requirement

Education & Experience

A Level Standard of Education in Accounts or better
