Accounts Clerk

One of our clients, is looking for an accounts clerk to join their finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of accounting records,
  • Posting of routine transactions,
  • Preparation and checking of Sales invoices. 
  • Maintenance of the general ledger and the respective reconciliations
  • Printing of payment cheques and getting approval from signatory
  • Coordination of all foreign exchange matters
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
  • Coordinating petty cash payments
  • Ensuring that the company's financial policies are adhered to

 Education & Experience:

  • An Advanced level of education in Accounting
  • A Minimum of  one year previous local experience in a similar role

Skills:

  • Basic computer skills are essential
  • Knowledge of Opera would be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Maltese
  • A highly motivated, meticulous and responsible team player with strong goal oriented skills to join a dynamic and challenging industry
