Accounts Clerk


We are looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting with the accounting for 3 separate legal entities with elements of inter-company transactions.


  • Handling bank reconciliations and inter-company transactions including manual journals
  • Posting invoices and payments
  • Debtor Chasing
  • Raising customer invoices
  • Maintaining appropriate accruals and prepayments lists
  • Creditor Payments
  • Bank Deposits
  • Liaising with the accountant for the completion of management accounts
  • Submitting company related documents for auditing and licensing purposes

Skill-sets and Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous local accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting software
  • Analytical and highly conscientious  
  • Autonomous and comfortable working on own initiative
  • Highly organised and capable of working in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Maltese 

Education & Experience

A minimum of an A-level in accounts or AAT qualification will be considered an asset
