Accounts Clerk

Malta

Our client, a well-established organisation operating within the local insurance industry, is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Credit Controller within the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Process daily receipts and payments in technical system;
  • Allocate debtors;
  • Assist in the clearing of cash control account;
  • Process and print technical and non-technical payments;
  • Assist in other administrative work as may be required. 

Education and Experience:‚Äč

  • O-level or A-level standard of education;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Applicants with previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, although full training will be provided by the client.

Skills:  

  • Proactive and flexible approach to work;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English;
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
