One of our key clients specialising in Financial and Corporate services is looking to onboard an Accounting Manager to join their team:
Duties:
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparation of Management Accounts, Analysis of variances and other ratios where the need arises
- Preparation of applications with VAT and IRD
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Work within an accounting team – review and monitor junior staff
- Work in liaison with external auditors in the course of the audit
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Strong communication skills – both written and spoken Maltese and English
- Knowledge of SAGE accounting software
- A minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience in client accountant
- Ability to work on own initiative and work against stringent deadlines
Education & Experience
ACCA/ Master in Accountancy / ACA qualifications or pursuance of studies
