Our client, a leader in the Finance sector, specialising in Fiduciary and Advisory services, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team of professionals:
Job Requirements:
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Management Accounts, and analysis of variances
- Applications of VAT and IRD
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Working closely with external auditors
- Managing a small team
Education and Experience:
- ACCA/ Master in Accountancy / ACA qualifications, or similar
- Ideally 1/3 years experience managing a team
- Experience and exposure in dealing with the local and international market
- Minimum 2 years' experience in client accounting
Skills:
- Familiar with SAGE accounting software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Maltese and English are a must
- Able to work against stringent deadlines, and deliver in a timely manner
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills
