Our client, a Boutique CSP, is looking to recruit an Accounting Manager in Client Accounting to join their dedicated team of professionals that is well placed to meet demanding client requirements.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join, and lead, a team of accountants.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of three accounting professionals.
- Planning and overseeing accounting, tax, and audit liaison work.
- Ensuring deliverables are completed within set timeframes.
- Mentoring team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Providing assistance to the team as needed.
- Keeping the team focused and motivated to consistently meet deadlines.
- Acting as the technical point of contact for the Board, team, and clients.
- Managing a select portfolio of clients, including accounting, VAT, and income tax matters.
- Identifying training needs to stay current with technical developments.
- Drafting management accounts and financial statements.
- Occasionally interacting with international clients.
- Performing additional duties and ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in an accounting environment, of which at least two years experience in Corporate Services;
- Experience in the preparation of IFRS and GAPSME financial statements
- Experience in dealing with local tax reporting, including tax returns, refunds, NID calculations;
- Demonstrable leadership skills
Education and Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
