Accounting and Tax Services Assistant Manager

A reputable client of ours specialising in the Financial Sector is currently looking to onboard an Accounting and Tax Services Assistant Manager to join their team of professionals.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of all accounting duties for a portfolio of clients:

Duties:

• Preparation & Review of accounting documentation (such as invoices) posted to the nominal ledgers 
• Preparation & Review of reconciliations of bank and other ledger balances 
• Preparation & Review of calculations, prepayments, and accruals
• Preparation & Review management accounts 
• Preparation & Review of FATCA/CRS reporting
• Filing of accounting documentation 
• Preparation & Review of financial returns and CBM returns
• Preparation & Review of the annual financial statements 
• Assisting with auditors’ queries 
• Review of Vat returns, tax returns and tax refund claim forms
• Assisting in the management of the client accounting and tax services team
• Carrying out general duties including but not limited to liaising with other departments within the Group, and assisting in other ad-hoc duties as may arise due to the exigencies of the operation

Skill-sets and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in client accounting would be considered an asset
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word and Excel
• Must have excellent administrative and business support skills, able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
• Able to work accurately to tight deadlines
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written communication skills in English

Education & Experience

Must hold a degree in Accountancy or be ACCA qualified
