Our client, a well established Insurance company, is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts, as well as the annual financial statements and reports, for both internal and external purposes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
- Provide assistance during annual audits.
- Aid in budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with the reconciliation of insurance and reinsurance accounts, including claims, premiums, and reinsurance.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior position.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Accountancy or an equivalent certification.
