A well-established client of ours, in the transportation industry, is on the lookout for a prospective candidate to join their team as an Accountant. The chosen individual will have the below duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the group
- Reconciliations of daily bank movement, that include multi currency
- Reconciles of accounting records, including costing
- Monitoring and carrying out follow-ups on impending payments
- Assisting the Financial Controller by fostering a collaborative relationship
- Being a proactive problem solver by diligently working on financial issues and finding the right sustainable solutions
- Involved in other administrative tasks that may arise from time to time
Skill-sets and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of local Accounting experience
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial principles are essential
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet required deadlines
- Advanced MS Office capability, especially Excel
- Highly fluent in both written and spoken English
