Accountant

Our client, a group of companies is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team:

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of monthly performance against forecasts and review of management accounts, addressing variances and preparing a business commentary.
• Calculation of accruals and preparation of journals
• Resolve reporting queries and maintain ledgers
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Assisting in production of sales invoices and credit notes.
• Producing, sending, and ensuring swift return of financial agreements from customers.
• Assisting with the production of cash flow forecasts and budgeting.
• Ensuring that customer data is managed in accordance with GDPR regulations.
• Guiding accounts clerks where needed
• Finalizing Management Accounts.
• Able to take own initiative.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals.

Skill-sets and Requirements

• At least 3 years of local accounting experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases
• Consistent, accurate, thorough, and detail-oriented
• Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
• Fluent in Maltese and English

In the last stages of ACCA of fully-qualified
