Accountant

Our client, operating within the yachting, hospitality and property industry is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their company. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple companies 
• Issuing of invoices 
• Payroll and monthly tax filings 
• Processing of bank and credit card reconciliations for the group
• Assisting in audit processes
• Liaising with stakeholders such as auditors and banks
• VAT/TAX submission management for the group of companies
• Preparation of forecasts and budget analysis 
• Preparation of monthly performance reports
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• Excellent multi tasker with the ability to prioritize
• Proficiency in Microsoft Tools
• Knowledge of Sage 50 will be considered an asset

Education & Experience

Candidates holding an accounting qualification will be given preference
