Accountant

Our client, a local renowned CSP is looking to recruit an Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Client Accounting the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients whilst handling accounting and other related duties
• Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors
• Reporting tax, payments and liaising with the tax authorities
• Preparing VAT returns and compliance
• Acting as a liaison to the clients and assisting them with their queries

Skill-sets and Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office . Previous working knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics will be considered an asset
• Possess a good knowledge in IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards
• Hold a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Have strong communications skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work on own initiative, within a team and under pressure
• Have a strong eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines

Education & Experience

• Hold a Masters Degree in Accountancy/Fully ACCA qualified
• Minimum 3 years experience in a client accounting role
• Fluent in English
