Reporting to the CEO & Chairperson, as the General Manager of our client's international catering operations, you will spearhead the delivery of high-quality catering services for weddings, corporate events, state dinners, and large conferences. This role demands an individual with a proven track record in managing upscale and highly efficient operations, aimed at expanding business locally and internationally as well as elevating existing standards of quality and efficiency:
Duties:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and execute business strategies focused on international expansion and superior market penetration.
- Drive the enhancement of operational procedures and service offerings, maintaining alignment with top-tier global industry standards.
Operational Management
- Oversee the entire operations of the catering business, ensuring excellence in the execution of large-scale events and high-profile engagements.
- Manage all aspects of logistics, from sophisticated sourcing and efficient production to precise delivery and event setup.
- Uphold rigorous standards of food safety and regulatory compliance.
Financial Oversight
- Direct budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation, championing cost-efficiency through strategic sourcing and effective procurement.
- Lead a structured financial team to ensure fiscal discipline and transparency across all projects.
Quality Control
- Implement stringent quality control measures to consistently enhance the culinary experience across various events.
- Utilise client feedback to refine service quality, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to industry trends.
Client Relations and Business Development
