Compliance Officer (Malta)

 

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, in this role you will oversee the development and implementation of a complete compliance strategy for the company. You will liaise with regulatory bodies and other institutions to ensure the highest level of procedure, as well as offer guidance and advice to management on compliance processes and procedures.  You will also oversee that business operations are conducted in accordance with compliance procedure, carry out continual risk assessment of the company’s practices, conduct training, compile reports and keep abreast on regulatory developments and industry initiatives.

 

In order to be considered for this role you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or within a financial service environment, coupled with professional qualification on a relevant area. Proven people management, reporting and organisational skills will be considered favourably. Availability to travel is also required.
