Our client is a well-established corporate services provider, assisting a highly diversified portfolio of clients. They are currently seeking to expand their team of professionals through the recruitment of a System/Network Engineer.

In this position, you will be responsible for deploying, managing, maintaining, configuring, troubleshooting, migrating, recovering and virtualising Windows Servers 2008 R2. You will also be responsible for network monitoring as well as event log analysis. You will also be expected to understand workflows, IT project management, change management as well as procedural documentation and formal processes.

This position calls for a tertiary level of education in Computing with previous experience working in a Microsoft/CISCO environment. You will be working with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, RRAS, VPN, Cluster Services, Active Directory, RAID (Hardware) configurations, Terminal Services,  SSL, Bitlocker and other encryption technology, Firewall concepts, RMS, File/Folder DACLs. You should also have knowledge of DELL/HP Robotic tape libraries, file replication software, DELL/HP Blade servers, Windows Hyper-V and VMWare ESXi virtualization platforms, as well as experience configuring and maintaining 3000+ kVA UPS Systems.
