As IT Specialist, you will be called to offer support to internal users and stakeholders in the use of tailor-made and off-the-shelf ERP systems. You will be expected to review critically the systems and proactively offer recommendations as to how further developments could be implemented. You will also be called to generate business information by tapping into the existing database. You will be working closely with local and international IT suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate running of the IT systems.

The role calls for a person holding a tertiary level qualification in an IT-related area, whilst a qualification in a business-related area will be considered a strong asset for the role. At least three years previous experience working in a similar role is called for. In addition, you should be well versed in the use of databases, querying and SQL procedures and the use of information systems for internal business models. You should possess the ability to work in a self-motivated manner and with utmost integrity.
