Senior Lab Analyst (Malta)

Our client, an established pharmaceutical company, a leading European manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, are currently looking for a Senior Lab Analyst to join their team. Due to the expansion of their operations, they require this person for immediate employment.

Reporting to the QC Manager, you will be responsible for performing analytical release testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished drug substance in a cGMP regulated environment. You will also be calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment and carry out product testing. Moreover, you will compile reports, perform analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished drug substances according to cGMP regulations. Products testing will involve HPLC, GC, IR, IV, Polarimeter, sulphated ash as well as heavy materials.

This role calls for a first degree in Chemistry with at least 3 years experience working in a cGMP quality control environment. Fluency in Italian/ greek and experience in the validation of analytical methods according to the current ICH guidelines will be considered an asset.
